As vice president & publisher of Engineering News-Record (ENR), Paul leads sales, product, and business development for construction’s premier source of breaking news, news analysis, and industry benchmarks. Paul joined McGraw Hill Financial in 2003 as vice president of Marketing Services for Platts, moved to McGraw Hill Construction as vice president of Media Sales in 2004, and was named vice president & publisher of ENR in 2010.

Under Paul’s leadership, ENR has grown and expanded its reach and capabilities connecting buyers and sellers in the design and construction marketplace nationally, regionally and globally. Today, ENR delivers essential information how, when, and where audiences need it, and provides marketers with effective new ways to communicate with industry decision-makers through fully integrated print, digital, social media, and event platforms. Paul’s initiatives are focused on enhancing customer value through ENR, and integrating the ENR Media Network with the Dodge Global Network to enable businesses to better compete and succeed in global construction markets.

Prior to McGraw Hill Financial, from 1999 through 2002, Paul was president, Worldwide Marketing for the internet services provider, Globix Corporation, where he built and led the start-ups marketing, sales operations, and product management departments. Prior to Globix, Paul was a leader and innovator in technology media as senior vice president & group publisher at Mecklermedia (1994 through 1998), where he launched the Internet World, Web Week, Internet Shopper, and Web Developer media brands. Paul also has held senior sales and sales director positions with the International Data Group (IDG), Fairchild Publications, Penton Media, and Ziff-Davis in his media and information services career.

Paul is currently on the Board of Directors of the New York Building Congress, and the National Board of the ACE Mentor Program of America. Paul is a New York Regents Scholar, and holds a B.S. degree in both Business-Economics and History, from the State University of New York, Oneonta.
