Our year is coming to a close and we are
excited about our project presentation event.

We saw great success with our campus visits and our introductions to the different components and career paths within the industry. Pre-registration for our fall program year will open soon. Look for our booth at the “Build My Future” event in March, buy a ticket to attend our Grounding Breaking 2018 event in April or follow our Facebook page for information on our summer informational meeting!

Our first official year has begun and we are so excited!

We have 30 students registered for this program year that will run September-April. Students have been learning about the industry and exploring career paths for their future, while experiencing office tours and real time work simulations. We are about to hold our “Hands On” field trip in December, leading us into our project preparation and presentation phase of the program in the spring. Follow our Events Tab and Facebook page for updates on the students and their experiences!

Calling all students!

Student enrollment for the Springfield Public School district will begin on August 16th, 2017 and go through September 8th. This will be for all high school students 9th-12th grade and is a selective process so make sure to submit your application as early as possible. Parents will need to complete an authorization form – all resources can be found here on our webpage. The selection process will include 5 student teams (one from each high school) of 5 students, paired with mentors from the industry and a teacher volunteer. Student packets will be available on each school site and will contain the program year outline and additional informational items. Don’t forget to mark your calendar and to talk with your parents regarding your involvement, this will be an experience to remember!

Mentor Recruitment is almost closed!

If you are still interested in working with local high school students, teaching them about our industry and the opportunities we offer, contact our affiliate immediately. Mentor training will be the first week of August, the date and location will be posted soon. All resources, background checks and registration will be handled at that time. You don’t want to miss out on this amazing opportunity to be the face of who we are and what we do in Architecture, Construction and Engineering.

ACE Mentor Program of the Ozarks

High school students in Springfield and the Ozarks area can now benefit from a nationwide program designed to introduce them to the wide range of career opportunities open to young people in architecture, construction, engineering, and related areas of the building design and construction industry.

At weekly meetings, student teams work directly with professionals from leading area firms, who volunteer their time to mentor the teams as they design hypothetical projects, tour local construction sites, and visit architectural, engineering and construction offices.

For students, it’s a unique chance to discover and develop new skills, solidify future goals and get on track to exciting, rewarding careers. In addition, many students form positive relationships with industry professionals who can provide important references for obtaining college admissions, scholarships, internships and full-time.
