Scholarships

Part of the mission of the ACE Mentor Program is to support our students in their continued advancement into the ACE Industry. One way we do this is by providing scholarships for their post-secondary education or training in a skilled trades program. Since 2007, ACE Mentor of Alabama has provided over $175,000 in scholarships to deserving seniors. Scholarships are awarded and celebrated at our Annual End of the Year Banquet.

ONLINE APPLICATIONS FOR 2024 OPEN:
March 1, 2024

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT APPLICATION:
April 19, 2024

In order to be eligible for a scholarship, you must:

• Be a senior graduating in May 2024
• Be planning to major in an ACE-related field at a 4-year college,
• Have attended or have been excused from at least 8 meetings for the 2023 – 2024 program year, AND
• Return a completed application plus one (1) reference from a non-family member by the due date.

A COMPLETED application includes the following information:

• Application
• Essay Questions
• Recommendation
• Transcript

How to Apply:

• LOGIN HERE: https://www.acementor.org
• Click “Sign into Your Account/Register with a Program” in the upper right corner
• Click “Sign into Your Account/Register with a Program” in the upper right corner
• Login with the username (which is an email address) and password that you first used to sign up for ACE.
• Click “Scholarships” in the left sidebar then “View Scholarships.”
• Click “ACE ALABAMA 2024 Scholarship” to begin your application.

TIPS:

As long as you do not hit “complete” on the application, you may leave the form incomplete and return as needed to finish it. 

The student must complete ALL sections of the application including the essays!

Scholarship Timeline for 2024:

March 1 | The scholarship guidelines and application link will have been e-mailed to students. Applications may be started on-line.

April 19 | Deadline for all student applications to be submitted. (Including sealed transcripts and 1 letter of recommendation). Check the guidelines and the application process for expectations. Application process is CLOSED. No changes to applications without approval.

April 30 | Scholarship Committee will interview eligible seniors.

May 3 | Scholarship winners will be notified via email and will receive their scholarship award at our End of the Year Banquet

May 2024 | End of Year Banquet | Date, Time, & Location TBD
