David Marino is Group President & Chief Operating Officer of American Global, one of the largest privately held insurance and surety brokerage firms in North America, specializing in all aspects of construction risk management. David has more than 30 years of construction risk management experience, guiding construction industry stakeholders with sophisticated risk financing and risk mitigation strategies, including captives, self-insurance, and alternative market solutions for large contractors and projects both in the US and abroad. As a published thought leader and speaker, David continues to be influential, bringing industry-leading strategies to construction industry constituents.

Throughout his career, David has been an active member of numerous industry organizations and charitable foundations. Currently, in addition to his role at ACE National, David is a member of the Board of Governors for the New York Building Foundation/New York Building Congress and proudly serves on the board for The Maurer Foundation.

David is a graduate of St. John’s University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Insurance and holds his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) designation from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters.
