Mr. Michael McNally

President and CEO Skanska USA, Inc., Parsippany, NJ

Michael F. McNally is one of nine members of Skanska AB’s Senior Executive Team responsible for Skanska’s global operations. Mike is directly responsible for Skanska’s business units in the U.S. and Latin America. As
President and CEO of Skanska USA Inc., he oversees Skanska USA Building, which specializes in building construction; Skanska USA Civil, which is focused on civil infrastructure; and Skanska USA Commercial development, which pursues commercial development initiatives in select U.S. markets.

Most recently, Mike served as President and CEO of Skanska USA Building Inc., responsible for all building operations. Upon joining Skanska in 1998, Mike brought an extensive background in the construction of large, complex projects in a variety of market sectors, enabling Skanska to expand its services, enter new markets and diversify its client base. Under his leadership, Skanska continues to grow and strengthen its presence in the U.S., recently winning several significant construction projects such as the renovation of the United Nations’ New York headquarters; the University Medical Center in New Orleans; eBay’s new data center; the New Meadowlands  stadium; the Alaskan Way Viaduct in Seattle; the Brooklyn Bridge and the park below it; and two major projects at the World Trade Center. Furthermore, under Mike’s leadership, many of our offices have been recognized as “Best Places to Work.”

Mike holds a BSCE degree from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Rhode Island. Beginning his career as an offshore field engineer in Cairo, Egypt, he has more than 35 years of construction  experience, 13 of which have been with Skanska. Before coming to Skanska, Mike served as Vice President in charge of construction for Fluor Daniel’s Industrial Group.

Mike currently sits on the national board of directors for the ACE Mentoring Program and on the Leadership Council of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Let’s Rebuild America initiative. He also serves as Vice Chairman of New York Building Congress.
