National Architecture, Engineering and Construction Scholarships

Many national organizations and firms have scholarship programs supporting architecture, engineering, and construction students.

For the benefit of our students and alumni, ACE has compiled a list of 25 industry associations and companies that collectively provide several hundred scholarships each worth between $1K and $15K. Local chapters of industry associations in this list also offer financial support.  ACE alumni and students previously have won a number of these scholarships.

Annual Report for 2017-18    Program Year

This new report tells the story of ACE’s success in the recently concluded program year.  It succinctly summarizes key information and data from recent student and alumni surveys as well as year-end affiliate reports.

Grant Successes

Two affiliates recently received generous grants.

The Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation awarded the Michigan affiliate $50K.  This grant will enable the affiliate to purchase computers for student use and cover other costs such as transportation, administration, and meals.

The Greater Philadelphia affiliate has received $20K from the Philadelphia chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) which also named affiliate executive director Tiffany Millner as one of 20 women leaders in 2018.  This grant is directed toward support of the affiliate’s two all-girls teams.   In 2016 the affiliate earned a similar award from CREW.

CREW has chapters in many communities and so might be a source of funding for other ACE affiliates.

Kudos for Connecticut

The Hartford Business Journal recently named the Connecticut affiliate as the Nonprofit Organization of the Year.  This award recognized the affiliate for its two decades of success.
