Jack Whalen
South Regional Director

Joining ACE National in 2025, Jack Whalen brings with him his passion for mentorship and dedication to supporting the next generation of leaders in the AEC fields. An educator, mentor, and licensed architect, Jack’s background has focused on providing a continuity of mentorship to emerging professionals.

Jack has been directly involved in the mentor program since high school, including as a former student (ACE Central PA), Intern for the ACE National Office, Lead Mentor, Affiliate Mentor Liaison, and Planning Committee Member for ACE Mentor Delaware. Outside of the mentor program, he has served as an Architect Licensing Advisor for his firm, taught college design courses, contributed to architectural regulation boards and exam resource groups, provided free virtual mentorship through his website, and served as the AIA Young Architect Representative for the State of Delaware.

In his free time, Jack enjoys a variety of hobbies, including design, playing and writing music, as well as working on his car and taking it to shows. Jack was born and raised in Sarasota, FL, and is a proud cat dad to his torbie named Peanut.
