Joe Jouvenal

Joe Jouvenal is responsible for overseeing all operations for McCarthy Holdings, Inc. and its subsidiaries, and oversees the corporate human resources, quality and safety departments.

Jouvenal began his career with McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. in 1998 as a project engineer and advanced through various project operations roles. In these roles, Jouvenal led management and operations while assisting with preconstruction strategy. In 2022, Jouvenal became the first chief administrative officer for McCarthy Holdings, Inc., overseeing the day-to-day management of the firm’s corporate departments, including facilitating collaboration across offices and strategy to support the growth and scale of the organization. In 2024, he was promoted to his current role of chief operating officer.

An active advocate for industry and workforce development, Jouvenal is involved in a variety of community organizations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
