John Gavan
President
KPFF

John Gavan functions as the President of KPFF Consulting Engineers, and blends project responsibilities and commitments along with overall firm leadership activities. He has been with KPFF since 1989 and has extensive experience in medical, hospital, and research facilities, mixed use / retail projects, base isolation technology and design of exterior wall systems. He holds both an M.S. and B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). He is recognized by clients and team members as a collaborative team player that adds value by bringing an overall understanding of the design and construction process that goes beyond the structural engineering discipline.
